Fashion Targets Breast Cancer Checked Dress from Laura Ashley

Laura Ashley is again supporting Fashion Targets Breast Cancer with two beautiful, complementary pieces of which 30% of the proceeds will go to the charity.

The first of the items is this gorgeous checked pink and white dress, gathered at the waist and a flared skirt for maximum flattery. Cashmere Mix Cardigan from Planet

This week, until 9th March, Planet are offering 20% off everything on their website.  It's a great time to stock up on some classic, quality wardrobe staples and there is also a great selection that would look super chic for the office.

However, I've gone for something a little more versatile and casual, but luxurious, in this champagne coloured cashmere, merino wool and viscose mix cardigan.  Elegant and timeless, it can be thrown over anything to look stylish and feel super soft.  I also like the diamanté buttons to give it a little sparkle!  It's normally £99 but with the discount (that's automatically applied at the checkout) it is £79.20.  It's available in sizes extra small to extra large.  Gorgeous!

Alpaca Wool Blend V-Neck Cardigan from UNIQLO

UNIQLO can be relied on to produce some great quality wardrobe staples at really good prices.  Knitwear often contains cashmere, merino or alpaca and other clothing uses cutting edge fabrics and technologies.  It also does some great collaborations with designers, such as this recent one with Orla Kiely.

I love this alpaca wool blend cardigan that is soft, light and elegant. Its sleeves and bottom are slightly ribbed, which prevents it from being dull.  It's shape and length means that it can be worn with almost any casual outfit - I'd wear a camisole vest top underneath and team with skinny jeans and ankle boots.

Originally £19.90, which I think is fab value anyway, it's reduced to £14.90 in the sale.  It comes in wine (pictured), cream, light and dark grey, black and green in a variety of sizes.

Louche Hender Fluffy Jumper from Joy the Store

As ever, there are loads of incredibly gorgeous items for Autumn and Winter from Joy the Store.  Knitwear is always a good bet for this time of year, and they have several pretty and warm fluffy jumpers to choose from.

I've picked this Hender pastel pink, cable-knit jumper as my favourite at the moment.  I think the colour is lovely and will brighten up a dull Autumn's day.  A cable-knit pattern will never go out of style and the relaxed yet slim-fit means that it will look great when layered over pretty much any top.  It can be worn with jeans, a scarf and boots for classic Autumn style or dressed up a bit with a skirt and some flat shoes.

Nifty Knitwear: Teacup Jumper from White Stuff

I love White Stuff for its dresses, tunics and knitwear. They are great quality, fit really well and are perfect for daytime casual wear.  They've just launched their sale where there is up to 30% off, so it's well worth taking a look, and fairly soon - White Stuff sales do tend to sell out quite quickly.

There are loads of gorgeous jumpers and cardigans which will be ideal for when the weather turns - I don't think it's going to be too long before that happens, unfortunately!  I think this cream and pink/purple flecked jumper is lovely and is perfect for autumn.  It's simple, classic shape and neutral colour means that it will go with almost any coloured bottoms - but I think it would be superb with jeans and knee-high boots.  It's an acrylic/wool/mohair blend, so should feel soft and warm to wear.  It's still available in sizes 14 to 18 and has been reduced from £49.95 to £39.

Now, I know the weather seems to be improving but it is still changeable, which is why a cardigan is always such a great item to have tucked away.  I love this cream with multi-coloured flecks one by Henry Holland.  The dashes of colour turn what could be a rather drab, simple cardi into something a bit more lively that can be worn whatever the season.  Worn over a plain t-shirt with jeans and pumps, it creates an easy, everyday outfit.  Normally £45, with the discount it's £36 and is still available in sizes 8, 12 and 16.
