Delightful Dress: Louche Hensley Tree Print Dress from Joy the Store

Another day, another sale and today it's Joy the Store.  Again, there are so many gorgeous items available but I thought another lovely dress was highly appropriate!  I particularly like this Louche Hensley tree print dress which has been reduced from £59 to £35 in the sale.  The shimmery, silky pattern is divine and different and the high necked, full-skirted style is classic and refined.  With a hint of elastane, it will fit perfectly, nipping in the waist for a gorgeous, flattering shape.

Louche Hender Fluffy Jumper from Joy the Store

As ever, there are loads of incredibly gorgeous items for Autumn and Winter from Joy the Store.  Knitwear is always a good bet for this time of year, and they have several pretty and warm fluffy jumpers to choose from.

I've picked this Hender pastel pink, cable-knit jumper as my favourite at the moment.  I think the colour is lovely and will brighten up a dull Autumn's day.  A cable-knit pattern will never go out of style and the relaxed yet slim-fit means that it will look great when layered over pretty much any top.  It can be worn with jeans, a scarf and boots for classic Autumn style or dressed up a bit with a skirt and some flat shoes.

This jumper's £42 in sizes 8 to 16, but Joy have an offer at the moment where customers get a free cardigan with spends over £75 or new customers can get 10% off first orders when they sign up to the newsletter.

Earrings from Joy

It's probably quite easy to spot from my posting history, but one of my favourite shops is Joy the Store.  I love its quirky and unique items, especially the accessories which are often great value.  The new Artysmarty collection is simply superb but quite pricey, but the Louche collection is reasonable.  I was perusing the earrings earlier and have found some gorgeous ones to highlight!

First up are these Louche Half Moon jewel stone studs which are just £8.  The colours are fab and they look a lot more expensive than they are!  They would look lovely with a smart evening outfit for a night out.
Next are these super cute Louche Kat stud earrings.  Again, the pink, black and white colour combination is lovely and these could be worn with anything - but I think they would be perfect for casual daytime with a twist.  Again, they're £8.
Finally, I've gone for some dangly earrings and have chosen these Louche geometric diamond ones - again, £8.  These would work for day or night, but would look especially brilliant with a fab evening dress.
Joy have an ongoing offer of 10% off first orders when customers sign up to their newsletter so these great value earrings can be obtained for even less!  In addition, customers can get a free zebra print weekend bag with spends of £75 or more, while stocks last.

Splendid Skirt: Louche Cindy A-line Skirt from Joy

Say what you like about Victoria Beckham, I don't think it can be denied that she's come a long way from her Spice Girls days and developed into a respected (and in my opinion, talented) fashion designer.  Her dresses are gorgeous, flattering and feminine but unfortunately are out of my price range!

The item from her SS13 collection that I've been coveting is a bright orange a-line skirt.  Victoria's been spotted out and about in this skirt a couple of times now - as part of a suit to give a fashion talk and with a neutral top when out with her daughter.  I love the vivid tangerine orange which is summery bright and cheerful.  And an A-line skirt is always flattering, pulling in the waist and disguising the upper hips and thigh but still flashing enough leg to be fun!

I've found an equivalent skirt from Joy the Store.  Whilst it isn't top-class designer, and it's a cotton blend as opposed to silk and wool, it's still stylish and great quality and is reminiscent of the Victoria Beckham version.  I would pair it with a tucked-in cream or white blouse for simple, sophisticated chic; for day I'd wear flat pumps and switch to some killer heels in the evening.  Available in sizes 8 to 14, it's been reduced from £32 to £20 in the sale.
What are your views on Victoria Beckham as a designer?  Do you think she's a worthy designer whose styles can be emulated?

Splendid Skirt: Louche Larry Monochrome Pencil Skirt from Joy

Now this is more monochrome but with a difference!  This black and white graphic print pencil skirt from Joy the Store reminds me of an optical illusion by MC Escher, creating a unique, three-dimensional and fabulous effect.  As ever, the pencil skirt style is perfect for most women's shapes and sizes, with the fabric being slightly stretchy for a great fit.

This skirt would be lovely for the office, with a smart shirt and shoes but it could be dressed up for the evening too with some brightly coloured heels and accessories.  One could perhaps even combine this skirt with the current neon trend to make a real fashion statement - I think that would look amazing!

Joy have an ongoing offer of 10% off first orders when customers sign up to their newsletter, so instead of £35, the skirt can be bought for £31.50.

Awesome Accessories: Louche Three Stack Flower Rings from Joy the Store

It's not on sale, but this Louche three stack flower ring is a steal!  This trio of floral delights are in this season's colour palate set in gold-toned bands. They can be worn together or separately - or wear just one!  It's possible to get 10% off by signing up to Joy's newsletter but if this is all that's being purchased, it hardly seems worth it as it is such a bargain.

Delightful Dress: Louche Leanna Spot Collar Dress from Joy

There are some gorgeous men's and women's clothes, accessories and gifts at JOY, which specialises in unique, limited and wonderful finds.  There are still items available in the sale and I am very tempted by this peter pan collared spotty navy dress.  The cut is classic and flattering and polka dots are always perfect, no matter what size!  The contrasting coral coloured piping on the collar and belt take what could be a very normal (although pretty) dress and add a pop of gaiety and brightness.  Originally £59, it's been reduced to £40 in the sale and is available in sizes 8, 10 and 14.
I would also like to point out about it at the moment is that, with purchases over £75, customers can get a free dragonfly print dress from JOY!  This can only be a good thing although I am not sure how this works with sale items.  Certainly worth a punt though...
