Splendid Skirt: Fearne Cotton Printed Mini Skirt from Very.co.uk

I got an email from Very.co.uk that Fearne Cotton has her new Autumn and Winter range out now and it looks quite nice.  Her collection is described as girlie, with a cool edge, and that's just what one gets!  However, I also noticed that there's a sale on the site, with up to 60% off, and I spotted this fab black, red and cream printed mini skirt from Fearne's (presumably SS13) collection.  I like this skirt particularly as it is chic and modern, but also versatile - it could be worn as a simple every day outfit or I reckon one could get away with it for work!  The pattern's great too, with a hint towards this season's tartan trend without going overboard.  It's a cotton/elastane blend, with a mock wrap front, so should fit and flatter very well.  It's on sale, reduced from £25 to £15 and is still available in sizes 14 to 18.

Great Jeans: Hilfiger Denim Sophie Skinny Jeans from Isme

There's still time to take advantage of sales; another one I have spotted is from online catalogue company Isme.  They are offering up to 60% off their branded fashion products and 70% off other items too.

I think these Hilfiger Denim Sophie zip hem skinny jeans are great for the transition into autumn.  The floral pattern is delicate and feminine, but not too much so that it is twee.  I also like the fact that the ankle hems have a zip - makes life that much easier I feel!  They'd work well for summer with light coloured pumps and a vest top or team with ankle boots and a jacket when it starts getting cooler.  They're available in sizes 8 to 16 and are £48 to £52.50 depending on size (reduced from £80).

Wardrobe Staple: South High Rise Supersoft Skinny Jeans

A well-fitted pair of skinny jeans is a wardrobe must and will work throughout the year with all sorts of outfits.  I find that it's important to look for a pair that has some give in it to produce a good fit, so look out for jeans with an element of stretchy material such as elastane.

I particularly like jeans by the brand South, which can be found through online catalogue sites such as Very, Isme and Littlewoods.  They fit really well and are available in a range of different sizes, leg lengths, colours and rises - personally, I prefer a high waist and I really like these supersoft skinny ones.
