Dark Floral Scuba Structured Playsuit from Lavish Alice

Lavish Alice is a gorgeous, online store that specialises in fashion's most covetable trends at reasonable prices.  It's also well-loved in showbiz circles, with popular singers like Pixie Lott, radio DJs such as Fearne Cotton and reality TV stars like Millie Mackintosh, Michelle Keegan and Samantha Faiers.

They have a great range of playsuits, perfect for the summer months.  I love this one with a digital floral monchrome print, making it easy to wear with a range of accessories - from flat pumps for daytime wear to heels for a smarter look; oversized sunglasses and hat for chilling in the sun or bright jewellery to give a complementary colour pop.

In line with the celeb theme of Lavish Alice, it's been recently spotted on E! News presenter Giuliana Rancic in the USA with some fab killer heels.  Very nice!

It's £44 - unfortunately it's not in the current 70% off sale. But so lovely!

Ted Baker Luceey Court Shoe from Masdings

Spring has sprung and designer store Masdings are offering free delivery on all non-sale, new season items.  There is so much to choose from - Michael Kors dresses and bags, Maison Scotch blazers, 7 For All Mankind jeans, Vivienne Westwood earrings.

However, I've gone for these gorgeous Luceey stiletto court shoes by Ted Baker.  Feminine, floral prints are still very much on trend this season and the Ted Baker pattern is always classic but contemporary.  The golden heels give them a shimmering finish that makes any outfit sparkle, for any occasion.  They could be worn during the day, for a dressy yet casual look, worn with sharp tailoring for the office or teamed with a gorgeous dress for a classic evening look. These really are a worthy addition to one's footwear collection!  They are also the best value that I can find online.

Divine Collaboration: Orla Kiely for UNIQLO

Orla Kiely has created a range of colourful, bold print tops for UNIQLO with the idea of a 'happy winter' - never a bad thing!  The collection features v-neck and rollneck t-shirts with a unique HEATTECH fabric, which basically keeps one warm using fancy textile technology.

All of the tops are currently on sale for just £9.90 (reduced from £12.90) and the patterns are new, inspired by nature and haven't been seen before so it's the perfect time to stock up on a fresh, contemporary look.  My favourite is this red, white and black flowered v-neck, long-sleeved t-shirt.  Simple and pretty, it can be thrown over jeans or skirts and used for layering.  If one prefers a rollneck top, I think it would look pretty fab with a simple, black pinafore dress, tights and boots.  And if that isn't enough, the winter sale is on at UNIQLO so there are lots more bargains to be had!

A Great Cause: Think Pink at Debenhams for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Debenhams have got loads of products where a proportion of the sale price will go to various charities through their 'Think Pink' initiative. The ones that will benefit are Breakthrough Breast Cancer (45%), Breast Cancer Campaign (45%) and Pink Ribbon Foundation (10%).  I've picked out a couple of my favourite products to highlight and first up, is this pink and grey striped onesie.  Made of a comfy, snuggly fleece, it's got a zip fastening and a super soft white hood lining.  Perfect for cuddling up during those upcoming cold evenings - or during the day, even - it's £25.

Next, I love this dark pink Rocha, John Rocha floral t-shirt.  I love its pretty embroidered and sequin embellished floral motif and a twisted neckline.  It's also got the pink ribbon on the hemline.  This top is £26.

Finally, there's not just clothing but homeware too.  I love this pink spotty scented candle, which will brighten up any room and smell sweet too!  Apparently it smells like home baking - yummy!  It's £10.  There's also a powder blue one, that smells like fresh laundry.
There's over 30 items, including underwear, bags and wellies, so do have a look to see what can be bought to benefit these worthwhile charities - you know it's worth it!

Terrific Top: Daisy Fest Lennon Sweater from Wildfox Couture

The weather may be cooling, but there's always a place for a pretty, floral top.  Of all people, I spotted Paris Hilton wearing this gorgeous daisy print top which is available from Wildfox Couture, an American vintage-inspired women’s clothing brand which combines great style and unsurpassed quality. Semi-sheer and soft, it will look perfectly pretty teamed with jeans for a gorgeous, everyday look.  Or dress it up with a maxi skirt and heels, like in the picture.  Just add a simple strappy vest top underneath - unless one is super-brave!
Until 25th December, customers can get 10% off first orders by subscribing to the Wildfox newsletter, reducing this top to £229.50.  Delivery is free.

Fantastic Footwear: Irregular Choice Flick Flack Heels from Rubbersole.co.uk

Most weeks, Rubbersole.co.uk do a series of 'private sales' whereby customers can get up to 50% off selected brands on the site.  This week (until 11th October), they've got deals including Havaianas, Converse and one of my favourite brands, Irregular Choice.  This brand is quirky, edgy and unique and there is nothing to rival it, as far as I can tell!

I love these red and white spotty 'Flick Flack' courts which have been reduced by 30% - from £74.99 to £52.49.  They are fun, feminine and funky but not too over the top; they can be paired with a fairly neutral dress to look fab.  This style is also available in a floral baby blue and a spotty basic black.

Awesome Accessories: Johnny Loves Rosie Statement Floral Drop Necklace from Spoiled Brat

One of my favourite accessories of the season is the statement necklace.  It can transform an outfit with very little effort or spend - so definitely a savvy way to modernise and vitalise any outfit.

There are loads of brilliant necklaces at Spoiled Brat and my favourite are from the Johnny Loves Rosie range.  This floral drop necklace is lovely.  The colour combination is really interesting and would really brighten up an outfit when paired with a neutral top.  The floral design has a unique retro hint of late sixties/early seventies.  It would work well for both every day casual wear and dressed up for evening.  Simply brilliant!
It's £35, but new customers can get 20% off first orders with the code TAKE20.

Great Jeans: Hilfiger Denim Sophie Skinny Jeans from Isme

There's still time to take advantage of sales; another one I have spotted is from online catalogue company Isme.  They are offering up to 60% off their branded fashion products and 70% off other items too.

I think these Hilfiger Denim Sophie zip hem skinny jeans are great for the transition into autumn.  The floral pattern is delicate and feminine, but not too much so that it is twee.  I also like the fact that the ankle hems have a zip - makes life that much easier I feel!  They'd work well for summer with light coloured pumps and a vest top or team with ankle boots and a jacket when it starts getting cooler.  They're available in sizes 8 to 16 and are £48 to £52.50 depending on size (reduced from £80).

Delightful Dress: Fever Babylon Shift Dress from Amazon

There is up to 70% off in the Amazon fashion sale and there is a lot available at present.

I've fallen in love with this Fever Babylon jersey dress.  The pink, mint green and white colour combination is really pretty, as is the intricate floral embroidery on the skirt.  Shift dresses flatter most figures, skimming the body but without clinging and they are so versatile.  I'd wear this to the office, as well as when I'm out and about.  A lined, cotton mix, this dress perfect for summer.

Originally £84.99, it's currently between £44.83 - £47.07, depending on size.

Splendid Skirt: Maurizia Lace Pencil Skirt from Coast

There's always room for a fab and flattering pencil skirt, especially when it comes in a vibrant, summery colour and gorgeous pattern!  I adore this orange Maurizia lace skirt, available in sizes 8 to 18 in the Coast sale.  The cut is perfect and the slimming band that cinches in the waist will make for a faultless fit.

Team with a neutral, cream top and heels for an elegant, feminine and classic look or be more brave and pair with the matching top.  The skirt has been reduced from £95 to £65.

Delightful Dress: Gojji Orchid Print Maxi from Ted Baker

It really is all about dresses at the moment.  There are so many fantastically gorgeous ones out there on sale and customers are really spoilt for choice.

I spotted this orchid print silk maxi dress in the window at Ted Baker and the picture doesn't do it justice.  It is simply stunning.  The sweetheart neckline is discreetly flattering and the belt will nip in the waist.  The silk fabric will feel amazing on, cool in the day but elegant at night.  The pattern is just beautiful too.  It's reduced from £229 to £115 in the sale and is only available online in size 14, but they have an in-store stock checker that could be used.  Sensational.

Investment Piece: Giselle Rose Print Silk Dress from Reiss

Purchasing key investment pieces of clothing and accessories can be seen as a savvy way to shop.  By choosing a few, high quality, versatile and classic items, one can have a gorgeous wardrobe that can work well for any occasion and never go out of style.

For this reason, I have fallen in love with this rose print silk dress from Reiss which comes in sizes 4 to 14 and is £159.  The silk will be luxurious to wear, cool for summer days but elegant for evenings.  The pattern and cut is flattering, with the fitted top and flared skirt to skim hips.  I'd pair this with some killer heels - maybe some Louboutins! - and a structured handbag - for an exclusive night out.

Over the Top: Moredale Quilted Jacket from Joules

The end of season sales are certainly upon us and it's the perfect time to grab all sorts of bargains.  I've noticed that there is a great selection of products on offer at most of the stores having sales, rather than just the usual 'bargain bin' items that one often sees; presumably it's all to do with the economic climate and that shoppers are savvier (hurrah!).

The Joules sale started this week and there is a lot of clothing and accessories still available - again, unusual, as their sale items have always sold out super-quickly in the past.  But it does mean that shoppers don't have to panic buy!  I've chosen to highlight this Moredale quilted jacket in my post today as it's a high-quality, classic coat that will last season after season; it's also a coat I already own, I love it and I've had loads of compliments about it.  It's brilliant for the British weather as it's lightweight and slightly quilted, so will keep one warm, but it's not too thick to be heavy or hot - so great for those in-between seasons or the annoying, changeable weather that we seem to be having at the moment.  It's also water resistant so is okay for when it showers.  The cut of the coat is great too, coming in slightly at the waist to give a nice body shape when wearing it.  And the pockets are practical, big and usable - I absent-mindedly put my phone in the pocket and it was perfectly safe with no chance of it falling out.  A final touch which I think is lovely is the contrasting inside lining, which adds an element of cheeriness and fun!

The Moredale was £89.95 but has been reduced to £59.95 in the sale.  There are many colours and sizes still available so have a look to see what suits!
Let me know if you like this jacket and are planning to buy it!  What colour will you go for?

Delightful Dress: Vivienne Westwood Anglomania Antoinette Floral Dress

I love Vivienne Westwood's collections.  Her style is rebellious and grungy, yet it still manages to retain an element of femininity.  I think also that her designs are so beautiful, that they are almost a piece of art in fashion format.  My favourite items that completely embody these ideas are from her Anglomania collection.  It is romantic, with a hint to the medieval, with bodices, full skirts, delicate florals and flattering, ladylike cuts.  It's also slightly less expensive than other Vivienne Westwood collections which is always good!

This draped neck, sleeveless Antoinette floral dress epitomises the Anglomania collection and I think it is utterly gorgeous.  Made from 100% cotton, it will feel fantastic and be cool for summer.  The cinched waist and flared skirt creates a superb, hourglass silhouette, complimenting curves perfectly.  I'd wear this for evenings in the sun drinking Pimms on the terrace, paired with some pretty pink heels and a pashmina.  It's also perfect for weddings and other summer events.  Alternatively, one could be truly inspired by Westwood's vision and team it with a pair of Doc Martins and a leather jacket for a feminine modern punk look!
Usually retailing at around £350, it's available on sale at Van Mildert for £245.  Alternatively, My-wardrobe.com may be re-stocking it for £248 - the site says it's 'coming soon'.

It's also available in black which is also lovely, but more suited to evening dos I'd suggest.  Normally retailing about the same (£350), it's also on sale at Van Mildert for £210.
This dress would be a real investment piece that will last year after year and continue to be fabulous.  Do you prefer to spend more on such pieces or buy lots of items at cheaper prices, that can be replaced each season?

Delightful Dress: Sequin Pattern Skater Dress from Fashion World

A girl can never have too many dresses so here's another one!  Fashion World is an online and mail order catalogue company, focusing on plus-size womenswear from sizes 12 to 32.  They have a great variety of on-trend, quality clothing, shoes and accessories, all designed to flatter and compliment all figures.

This sequin patterned skater dress is perfect for summer. The design is delicate, the colours subtle and pretty.  Skater dresses flatter curves enormously, by drawing in the waist and then skimming the hips and thighs; this particular dress goes one step further - by having a pleated skirt, it will hide any lumps and bumps and create a wonderful, girlie silhouette.  Being cotton and elastane, it will be cool and fit well.  It's a fantastically, versatile, savvy purchase - I'd team with casual sandal wedges and a cardi in the day or nude heels and a pashmina for the evening.

I think this dress is great value already at just £27.50, but new customers can get 10% off with code CQHC5, which is ongoing until the end of the year.  It's available in sizes 12 to 22.

What's your preferred dress style?  Would you wear a shorter skater dress like this or do you prefer a maxi?  Or something more fitted?  Let me know in the comments below!

Beautiful Bag: New Posy Business Bag from Cath Kidston

'What is a business bag?' I hear you say.  I wasn't sure either, but it looks like a really good purchase for the working woman who's into Cath Kidston - or any woman who has a laptop, iPad and some pens!

In terms of pattern and styling, this Posy business bag may be a little flowery for the office, depending on the workplace.  But I do think this could work with a sharp suit and heels, giving a feminine edge to power dressing if it's appropriate.  It's made from oilcloth, so it's going to be durable and waterproof - always a good thing!  It's padded too, so will protect that (up to 13 inch) laptop or iPad, especially during the commute.  Not only does it have the handles, but it also has a shoulder strap - again, helpful and handy.

I prefer the idea of a bag like this to a standard laptop case or bag, as it's more versatile and will hold more with all of the compartments and pockets; yes, it's more expensive but I'd suggest that you get more for your money.  There's a third off this bag at the moment, so instead of £75, it's £50.
Would you use this bag at work or is it too flowery for your office - let me know in the comments below!

Summer Staple: Charming Bouquet Balconette Bikini from La Perla

We are inching towards summer and my thoughts are truly at the beach.  And with perfect timing, selected La Perla beachwear is on sale.  There's up to 40% off beautiful and luxurious bikinis, swimsuits and many other accessories.

I've picked this floral balconette underwired bikini as it's pretty and flattering.  Balconette bikinis and bras are brilliant as they push the breasts up from underneath, giving fantastic support, and they enhance the chest.  However, they don't crush the breasts together so this style boosts the bust and cleavage in an understated and sophisticated manner.  And the watercolour floral print is delicate and lovely!

This bikini has been reduced from £369 to £221 in the outlet section of the online store and delivery is free for orders over £105.
What is your bikini style preference?  Do you prefer a balconette style?  Or is a halterneck or bandeau more your thing?  Add your views below!

Terrific Top: Firetrap Rose Vest Top from USC

Sometimes, a simple vest top is all one needs.  Throw over jeans, shorts, a skirt - any bottoms will do - and it will keep you cool and stylish.  Of course, there is a plethora of these sorts of tops out there and so customers are spoilt for choice in terms of pattern, shape, colour, price - everything really!

I've spotted this cotton vest top by Firetrap, which is on offer at USC.   The colours and the style means that it will go with anything and look fab; it's perfect for summer.  I think this top would be perfect for a festival with cut off denim shorts, long socks and some colourful Hunter wellies.  The rose, feather and safety pin pattern adds a touch of feminine edginess - almost a punk element - which is always a good thing!

It has been reduced from £20 to £12 and delivery at USC is free for orders over £50 (otherwise it's £3.99 for standard).  It is available in sizes extra small to extra large and also comes in grey with black or coral with black.
I'm planning on doing a post on festival fashion soon so let me know what your festival staples are in the comments below!

Delightful Dress: F&F Limited Edition Jacquard Prom Dress from Tesco

Prom dresses are gorgeous and versatile.  They can be dressed down with a casual leather jacket and wedges or glammed up for a night on the town with some amazing accessories and killer heels.  They are super-flattering by holding in the waist but skimming the hips to create a lovely, feminine shape.  Bigger busted women should look for prom dresses with round or v-neck necklines and smaller busted women can go for dresses with a higher neckline.

Tesco have a great range of dresses at the moment, and now is a good time to shop there, as they are doing their clubcard exchange promotion.  This means that every £5 in vouchers can be exchanged for £10 worth of vouchers for particular products - including clothing!  So essentially, customers are getting double something for nothing*!

I spotted this F&F Limited Edition Jacquard prom dress on the site, and it was also featured in Grazia magazine's Fashion Charts.  The neon green floral pattern is quirky and fun as well as being totally on-trend at the moment.  I'd wear it in the day and accessorise it with a belt to create the illusion of a small waist and team with some smarter sandal wedges and cream cardi.  The dress also comes in black and white and is available in sizes 10 to 20.  It's £35.
* Of course, there needs to be an initial spend to get the vouchers in the first place but hey ho.

Fantastic Footwear: LK Bennett Nina Peep Toe heels from Zalando

Zalando are currently running their designer sale, with reductions on a huge range of designer women's and men's clothing, shoes and accessories. There's all sorts of labels in the sale such as Michael Kors, Orla Kiely, Missoni and Sass & Bide and items are up to 70% off.

I love these LK Bennett peep toe heels, which are reduced from £195 to £100 and available in sizes 4 to 9. The unique floral pattern looks hand-painted and it reminds me of beautiful Chinese blue and white porcelain.    I'd wear them out to dinner or for an evening party, but they would work equally well for a wedding or similar. Simply divine.
